Botulinum Toxin
We use Botox to treat many aesthetics and wellness concerns. Botox® works by blocking certain chemical signals from the nerves, most of which are what make the muscles contract. This temporarily relaxes the underlying facial muscles that cause wrinkles, including the furrows on your forehead.
We can use Botox® to improve the look of "crows feet", gummy smile, forehead wrinkles, low eyebrows, bulky jaw etc.
Botox® can also be used therapeutically to treat migraines, teeth grinding and TMJ disorder.
Total treatment time varies from 15-45 minutes.
Some of our most popular Botox® treatments
Forehead
Forehead lines and wrinkles are also known as dynamic wrinkles. They are caused by muscle movement. Using Botox we can relax the muscle and get a smoother and younger appearance. Total treatment time is 10-15 minutes.
Crow's Feet
The crow's feet are small radial wrinkles that appear on the outer lateral area of the eyes. Crow's feet appear due to changes that occur in the different layers of the skin. The epidermis becomes thinner and more fragile. This procedure takes 15 minutes.
Eyebrow Lift
As we age we tend to lose tone in the muscle that support our eyebrows as well as skin elasticity. This can cause a hooded eye. Botox is a great way to treat hooded eye and give us a more youthful look. This procedure takes 30 minutes.
Lip Flip/ Gummy Smile
This treatment consists of injecting the upper lip, By doing this the muscle relaxes and the upper lip flips and looks more accentuated. This can reduce the amount of gums showing and slightly reduce the philtrum. Total treatment time is 10 -15 minutes.
TMJ/ Teeth Grinding
This treatment targets our Masseter muscle. This muscle is also one of the strongest muscles in our body and is responsible for chewing as well as connecting our jaw and cheekbone.
We can relax this muscle to reduce the symptoms of TMJ Disorder which include migraines and teeth grinding.
By treating the masseter we can also achieve facial slimming to reduce the look of a square face and bulky jaw.
Hyperhidrosis
Hyperhidrosis is an excess of sweating that exceeds what is necessary for body temperature regulation. Botox is able to temporarily inhibit the effect of acetylcholine, which interrupts the hyperactivity of the sweat glands, Botox blocks the messages from the nerves that are telling the sweat glands to produce sweat.
We facilitate this treatment by assessing and injecting the axillary zone.
Total treatment time is around 45 minutes.
