Spinal Stenosis

Spinal Stenosis – Overview

Spinal Stenosis is the condition in which space in the spinal canal is reduced. This reduction of space adds pressure on the nerves of the spinal cord. As a result the nerves can be compressed, causing various complications.

The reduction in space can occur in any part of the spine. But the most common are cervical stenosis and lumbar stenosis. Cervical stenosis happens when the bones come close together, reducing space in the neck region. Whereas, lumbar stenosis occurs when the space is reduced in the lower part of the spine.

Spinal Stenosis usually affects a person after the age of 50. But in other cases, anyone can experience spinal stenosis at any age. The symptoms also vary, depending upon the severity and the area that’s affected. Usually, spinal stenosis remains unnoticed in the initial stages as no symptoms appear.

If you have symptoms of spinal stenosis and want to get lumbar stenosis treatment then you’re at the right place.

The laser is also capable of helping to create space in the spinal canal and relieving nerves. You will need more than one session to get rid of pain completely.
